Signs of Self is a nonprofit 501(c)3 contracted through the Hawai`i Department of Human Services, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVR). DVR has long recognized the special needs of clients who have either a hearing or vision loss, or both, and has a commitment to serving these clients.
Signs of Self is an established agency in Hawai`i, serving the needs of people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, and/or deaf-blind. Staffed by trained professionals and community members, we will strive to always provide competent and responsible services to our clients.
At Signs of Self we believe that all individuals have the right to have as much say as possible in the direction of their own lives - regardless of individual ability. It is our goal to help our clients make the most of their lives.
